Volunteer at the Canadian Musicians Co-operative and join our mission to assist emerging Canadian artists to overcome barriers, build strong networks and develop sustainable, self-directed artistic practices.  The Canadian Musicians Co-operative is proud of our diverse community, serving members with disabilities women, people of colour, the LGBTQ2IA+ community, rural and low-income participants and Indigenous artists.  Volunteer with the Co-op today and feel great about making a difference in your community!  Additionally we need volunteers specialized in bookkeeping, law, web design, or grant writing to assist with the Co-op's year-round business needs.

As a volunteer for the Co-op, you can play a vital role in our "No More Starving Artists" (NMSA) program, and initiative that has rescued over $1.1 million dollars of food, and diverted over 1.04 million lbs of Greenhouse Gasses, and provided over 250,000 meals to local families in our community.  NMSA volunteers can get involved by sorting and packing food and fulfilling online or curbside orders. Volunteers with access to a vehicle can help us pick up and bring back food boxes from donor retailers and suppliers.

The Co-op also offers volunteer opportunities at our summer showcases. Showcase volunteers assist our audience and can support backstage and greenroom activities.  Qualified volunteers can support skilled activities, such as hairstyling or technical support.
